Two day obstacle clinic

Join us for a two day clinic with a focus on using obstacles with your horse. Working with obstacles has many benefits – encouraging horses to think more and react less, builds confidence, builds better communication and trust, improves physicality and co-ordination and best of all is fun for both of you and can help keep your horse mentally fresh.

Day One:

Starts with a little groundwork to make sure our horse is listening to us and understands the basics, then we will move on to the obstacles. We have a variety of obstacles to practice on – tyres, barrels, platforms etc that can be worked in several ways, increasing in difficulty so there is something for everyone. Discover more about yourself, your horse and how you work together, gain new skills and find some takeaways to work on at home.

Day two:

Starts with the ridden obstacles – bridge, tarps, pool noodle curtain, lots of variety again with varying levels of challenge to suit everyone. Later we work on some group exercises including some drill riding, games and other fun activities.

Lots of support and encouragement make this a really fun couple of days.

Terms and conditions:

We do not have a refund policy. If you cannot attend for any reason we are happy to transfer your place to another clinic date, give you a credit for private lessons or you can onsell/transfer your place to someone else.
